What gives us sometimes the unerring feeling that a project will work out well? And then things develop that way too. Even if the challenges seem overwhelming. If even during the course adverse events of the project cannot throw us off track.

Maybe you know the feeling from sports. Sometimes in the morning in front of a competition you have the relaxed feeling that you and your team can win today.

 

This form of confidence because you have done everything in your power, you are very well prepared and you get the right support. Then you give the best and you let go. This kind of self-fulfilling prophecy leads you through the day.

For Industry 4.0 still missing building blocks

This is the heading of an article from the specialist magazine A&D about smart factory, which reported solutions for a closed loop of data flow from machine to application and back again. Already at CIM times in the 80th was talked about, but today the cloud belongs to the essence of the digital factory.

Connectivity and networking is once again the backbone of current production automation. It was written by the “dream of the closed loop”, the data integration via the cloud back into the production automation.

Is this dream desirable or is a step to far here? Creativity and thus innovation are living on not putting too much emphasis on boundaries. And it is also about expanding the market for digitalization products and arousing customer needs. Let us look more closely at the term.

Revue of Social Media measures necessary?

On a cab ride to the airport, I came with the taxi driver in conversation, who I have ordered through an app: “Two customers have given me today her feedback and one has made me yesterday to his preferred driver. Poor results are rare and there is less and less of it. I can roughly estimate who it was and what the passenger was positive or less.

I think the ratings are good to me because they give me confirmation. In the course of time I have always improved and this is my reputation, which brings me clearly new customers. I do not need to shy away from a comparison in the circle of colleagues.
Only rarely is there a bad rating, which comes to me as out of the blue.”

This story was in contrast to the newsletter of a company of the energy industry. I read, that it wanted to shut down its internal communication and cooperation portal. The benefit would be to low. It wanted more appropriate ways, to communicate with their employees in a new way.
